Happy Saturday, Friends!
When it came to reading blogs this week, I felt like somewhat of a sponge. Have you ever felt that way? Just soaking up everything? I was especially drawn to reading things about “being the real you,” and I couldn’t quite understand why.
Well, have you ever felt a pull about something that you’re not sure where it’s coming from, only to later get validation by some events that take place?
This week, as I’ve been balancing playing catch-up from a “last hurrah of summer” vacation, seeing two sons off to college, watching my third (and youngest) start his last year of high school, volunteering, and meeting writing deadlines, I had been losing a bit of “me.”
I could tell that I was trying to be all kinds of things to all kinds of people, and the real Lynn was being lost in the shuffle. Mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, business owner, coach, and school volunteer…just to name just a few. The pull of commitments had been getting to me, and I could feel anxiety seeping in like a leaky faucet and consuming me.
I imagine we’ve all felt this way at one time or another, right?
These blogs were great reminders to me that I don’t have to have it all together. The best thing I learned is – I can be is little ole perfectly imperfect ME!
Without further ado, here are a few blogs that I want to share with you…
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did.
Lynn
